Meet The Team - MKGP Limited
Dr Adam Staten - Chair
Adam Staten is a GP partner at the Red House Surgery in Bletchley where he has worked since 2016. He trained at Cambridge University and King's College London, and completed a short service commission in the Royal Army Medical Corps before returning to the NHS for GP training.
He first started working for MKGP in 2017 in the role of Medical Director and took over as Chair in September 2019.
Andrew Harrington - CEO
Andrew is an Executive Leader with over thirty years’ experience in health and care.
He has worked within the domains of acute, community and mental health provision, in commissioning and national as Chief Nurse for Guernsey.
He is a qualified nurse and executive coach.
Andrew believes passionately in integration and working at scale. Together we are all stronger and can achieve much more, and cost a lot less.
Dr Neil Douse - Finance Director
Dr Neil Douse is originally from Bletchley, and having worked as a junior doctor at MKUH became a partner at the Stonedean Practice in Stony Stratford in 1998, and has worked there full time since then.
Neil has been a director for MKGP Limited since its formation and is the Treasurer and Vice-Chair.
Dr Thao Nguyen - Clinical Director
Dr Thao Nguyen has been a General Practitioner since 2009 and started her career as a GP Partner at Parkside Medical Centre, Bletchley.
Thao is passionate about service improvement and improving quality of care.
Dr Darren Moore - Director
Dr Darren Moore has been a GP Partner at Milton Keynes Village Practice since 2002 and has been a director at MKGP since it started.
Darren wants to keep General Practice at the heart of healthcare and strongly feels that by supporting each other and working together through a Federation, it will improve care for patients.
Francine Godrich - Company Secretary
Francine Godrich is qualified solicitor with 14 years’ experience, the last 7 of which were spent working as a legal adviser to Primary Care providers. Francine has a proven track record of ensuring that the legal requirements of an organisation are met and is an experienced company secretary and non-executive director.
Francine believes that health systems which focus on Primary Care delivery make for better health outcomes for patients and is keen to support the Federation in its mission to offer improved access and extended services to patients and integrating Primary Care in wider health and community services.
Laura Lucas - Practice Manager Lead
Laura has been a Practice Manager for Bedford Street Surgery and Furzton Medical Centre for 7 years.
Lauras previous roles have included stepping in as locality lead for what was the South Locality and then supported the Clinical lead in an admin role for this position.
Prior to becoming a Practice Manager Laura was employed as a Medicines Management Technician for the Pharmaceutical Advisors, working in various practices in Milton Keynes.
She is currently taking on a new challenge of becoming Business Manager for the SouthWest Network.
